Pablo Vargas serves as the Past President of the Sociedad Chilena de Cirugía de Hombro since December 2019 and is a Shoulder Surgeon at Clínica MEDS, specializing in Sports, Orthopedic, and Trauma Surgery since 2014. From 2009 to March 2014, Pablo Vargas worked at CLINICA SANTA MARIA as a shoulder surgeon in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery. Pablo Vargas completed a fellowship in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery of the Shoulder at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice in 2008. Educational credentials include a sub-specialization in shoulder surgery from Université Côte d'Azur (2008-2009), a residency in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery from Universidad de Chile (2001-2004), and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (1994-2000).
