Olga Schiopu

Olga Schiopu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Olga started their career as a Medical Doctor in the research department at the Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery in 2006. Olga then joined Bilim Pharmaceuticals as a Product Manager from 2007 to 2008.

In 2011, Olga joined Medpark International Hospital as a Neurologist and later became the Deputy Medical Director. Olga served as the Medical Director from 2013 to 2015, with their most notable achievement being the successful accreditation of the hospital by the Joint Commission International in May 2013. Olga also had a brief stint as the Chief Executive Officer at Medpark International Hospital starting from December 2015.

Apart from their hospital work, Olga held leadership roles in various organizations. Olga became the President of the Association of Private Healthcare Providers of Republic of Moldova in 2014 and is expected to continue in this position until 2023. In 2018, they became an organizational member of EHMA - European Health Management Association and the National Coordinator of the HOPE Exchange Programme at the HOPE - European Hospital and Healthcare Federation.

Furthermore, Olga worked as a back-up healthcare provider for the Peace Corps from 2013 to 2018.

- From 2000 to 2005, they pursued a Licentiate degree in the Neurology Residency Program at the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "N. Testemitanu".

- Finally, from 1994 to 2000, they earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "N. Testemitanu".
