Matthew Murdock currently serves as the Head of Data Operations at MedOrion, a position held since June 2024. Previously, Matthew held the role of Engineering Manager, Data at Submittable from March 2023 to June 2024, where responsibilities included managing a diverse team of software engineers and analytics professionals. Prior to Submittable, Matthew was the Head of Analytics Infrastructure at Flex from June 2021 to December 2022, focusing on modernizing the data stack and enhancing analytics workflows. Matthew's experience also includes a tenure as Data Engineering Manager at Outreach from March 2017 to June 2021, where Matthew designed a streaming data warehouse that significantly improved data accuracy and led a team to execute projects across various departments. Early career experience includes working as an Implementation Engineer at Scout by ServiceSource from March 2014 to March 2017, managing technical implementations of a custom BI platform. Matthew Murdock holds an educational background from the University of Washington.
