Samantha Munoz has a diverse work experience. In 2022, they began working as the Customer Success Lead at Medivis. Prior to this, they were the Regional Support Manager, Application Consultant, and Clinical Specialist at Brainlab from 2015-2022. In 2014, they worked as a Veterinary Assistant at Orangewood Animal Hospital. From 2013-2014, they were a Neural Networks Research Intern at the University of Pennsylvania, where they were a SUNFEST fellow leading a project focused on creating a model to predict grey matter density changes in the brain of Alzheimer's patients. Additionally, they hypothesized two different protein spreading models within the biological neural network using MATLAB and relevant current medical and scientific research. Samantha also developed relevant computing skills using Ubuntu, Freesurfer, and Connectome Mapping Toolkit. Finally, in 2012, they worked as a Biomedical Laboratory Research Assistant at the Biomedical Modeling Laboratory.
Samantha Munoz received their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from UNSW in 2012. Samantha then obtained an EMT Basic certification from the National Registry Emergency Medical Technicians in August 2011. After that, they attended Calhoun Community College and obtained their Emergency Medical Services in 2011. In 2010, they began their studies at Vanderbilt University, where they earned a Bachelors of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering in 2014. Following that, Samantha attended Arizona State University and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering in 2015.
