Teegan Galdeen Plackowski, MPH, currently serves as an Epidemiologist at the Medina County Health Department since July 2023. Previously, Teegan held the position of Graduate Assistant in the Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship at Grand Valley State University from August 2021 to April 2023 and completed an internship as an Infection Prevention Epidemiologist at Corewell Health from August 2022 to December 2022. Additional experience includes a role as a COVID-19 Laboratory/Pathology Assistant at Spectrum Health from December 2020 to July 2021, and laboratory support positions at Aquinas College - Grand Rapids, including Biology Lab Prep Assistant and Mohler-Thompson Summer 2020 Research Student. Teegan's educational background includes a Master of Public Health specializing in Public Health Epidemiology from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids.
