Matthew Lennertz, PharmD, MS, MBA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Matthew is currently serving as the Managing Principal, Medicaid PDL and Rebate Strategy at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Director, Value-Based Purchasing at Magellan Health from January 2018 to August 2020. Before that, they held the position of Director of Pharmacy Innovation and Analytics at Gateway Health from October 2015 to January 2018. Matthew also served as a Clinical Project Manager at Magellan Health Services from October 2012 to October 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at HealthSpring from September 2010 to October 2012. Matthew began their career at Walgreens, where they held various roles including Staff Pharmacist, Managed Care Pharmacy Resident, and Pharmacy Intern from June 2006 to August 2010.

Matthew Lennertz, PharmD, MS, MBA, has a strong educational background in the field of pharmacy and healthcare. Matthew began their education journey at Temple University, where they pursued a pre-pharmacy program from 2002 to 2005. This program prepared him for their next step, as they went on to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from Temple University between 2005 and 2009.

Driven by a passion for research and policy-making, Matthew pursued a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Outcomes & Policy with a concentration in Applied Pharmacoeconomics at the University of Florida. Matthew successfully completed their master's program from 2011 to 2013, equipping him with a deep understanding of healthcare policy and outcomes.

To further expand their skill set and knowledge, Matthew enrolled in the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
