Alfio Lo Castro is an experienced AR/VR/XR consultant currently developing an innovative biomedical project at Medics3D since January 2020. With a strong background in game development, Alfio has been involved with Running Pixel since 2008, creating the AR MMO WRLDCRAFT. Previous roles include Head of Development at Proxy42, AR/Unity Consultant at AITHO, and Unity Mobile VR Consultant at Eyecad VR, contributing to the design and development of various interactive and architectural projects. Alfio also led the Kinect2 VR project NUMI at Impronte Digitali, developed a landmark VR/AR application for the Regione Toscana at Arkematica, and founded JavArt Games, serving as CEO and Lead Designer. Early career experience includes roles as Information Technology System Engineer at Telvia and Lead Programmer at SIPORTAL SRL. Alfio holds a degree from Università di Catania.
