Kiersten LeBar DNP, MMHC, CPNP-AC currently serves as the Associate Chief Nursing Officer at the Medical University of South Carolina, specializing in Children’s, Women’s, and Behavioral Health since August 2022. Prior to this role, Kiersten held multiple senior leadership positions at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, including Senior Vice President for Advanced Practice Providers and Ambulatory Nursing, as well as Vice President roles in both Women’s and Children’s Service Line and Advanced Practice Providers. Experience also includes directorships at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, overseeing advanced practice providers in oncology and neonatal care, and earlier roles at Duke University Health System and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in neonatology. Academically, Kiersten holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Duke University, a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Vanderbilt University, a Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from York College of Pennsylvania.
