Cristina Abad serves as EUREKA's Technical Expert since September 2020, specializing in the assessment of proposals within an intergovernmental network focused on market-oriented R&D and innovation. Concurrently, Cristina manages the HARMONY Alliance project at the Medical Research Institute La Fe, which aims to improve care for patients with hematologic malignancies under a €40 million IMI initiative. Previous roles include International Project Manager at Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe and AIMPLAS, where Cristina fostered international partnerships and coordinated European project proposals. Early career positions encompassed project management and technical roles in various engineering and polymers companies, as well as a teaching position in chemistry. Cristina holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
