Cristian Garcia-Ruiz is a predoctoral researcher at the Medical Research Institute La Fe (IIS La Fe) since June 2018, focusing on projects related to MDS/sAML within the Hematology and Hemotherapy Research Group. Previously, Cristian contributed as an assistant research scientist at the same institute and at Lund University, where involvement included a project on leukemia biology during the master's thesis. Cristian holds a Master of Medical Science in Biomedicine, with a specialization in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Lund University (2015-2017), and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Valencia (2010-2015). Additionally, education includes a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Gothenburg (2013-2014).
