Bikram Day

Director, Informatics & Solutions Architecture. at Medical Informatics

Bikram Day has worked in the field of medical informatics for over 20 years. Bikram began their career in 1998 as a Senior Software Engineer at Welch Allyn. Bikram then moved to Lifecom Inc. as a Staff Engineer in 2004. In 2006, they joined Capsule Technologie, a Qualcomm Life company, as a Solutions Consultant and Clinical Informatics Architect. Bikram was responsible for designing and scoping out solutions for customers and prospects, as well as deploying proof of concept solutions in clinical care settings. In 2003, they became an Affiliate Faculty at the Department of Medical Informatics & Clinical Epidemiology at Oregon Health and Sciences University. In 2019, they were appointed as Director of Informatics & Platform Architecture at Medical Informatics Corp. Bikram also serves as a Board Member for SIM Portland Chapter since 2022.

Bikram Day attended Oregon Health & Science University from 1997 to 1999, where they earned their MS in Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology. Bikram also attended Presidency University from 1988 to 1990, where they earned their BSc in Chemistry. Prior to that, they attended La Martinere Calcutta and St. Xaviers School, but did not receive any certifications or degrees from either.
