Bill Hogan currently serves as the inaugural Director of the Data Science Institute at the Medical College of Wisconsin, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Bill Hogan was Professor and Director of the Division of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Florida from June 2014 to July 2023, overseeing approximately 14 faculty members and various academic programs. Bill Hogan also established the Division of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where the division was later elevated to departmental status. Earlier positions include serving as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh. Bill Hogan holds a Master's degree in Intelligent Systems from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a Doctor of Medicine from Thomas Jefferson University and a Bachelor's degree in Science from Penn State University.
