David Tierney has worked in the food and beverage industry for over 15 years. David started as a sales associate at Surdyk's Liquor, Inc. and was promoted to kitchen manager after two years. In 2010, they joined the team at Surdyk's Flights Wine Market & Bar as a general manager. During their time at Surdyk's, David was responsible for hiring and training dozens of employees, writing schedules, maintaining sales growth, and supervising the kitchen staff. David also helped launch and refine many new initiatives for the company, including Cleaning Audits, Green Weeks Contest, Take Out Ops (pandemic protocol), Prep Freshness Standard, and more. In 2016, David left Surdyk's to join the Medical Alley Association as a front-end specialist.

David Tierney has a Full Stack Web Development Certificate from the University of Minnesota College of Continuing & Professional Studies, an Associate's degree from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts-Minneapolis, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the Minnesota School of Business. David also has certifications from Codecademy in both the Learn SQL Course and the Learn the Command Line Course, as well as a Full Stack Web Development Certificate from the University of Minnesota.
