Nicolas Wilhelm is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs and public policy, currently serving as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at Medicaid Health Plans of America since March 2023. Previously, Nicolas held positions at Centene Corporation as Senior Manager of Public Policy and at AmeriHealth Caritas as Manager of Public Policy, where responsibilities included researching and analyzing health policy issues at the federal level. Nicolas has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Drexel University, Temple University Beasley School of Law, and Penn State Abington, specializing in drug policy and law. Earlier experience includes roles as a Law and Policy Analyst at the Policy Surveillance Program and a Summer Law Clerk at the Bucks County Public Defender’s Office. Nicolas holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Temple University and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Political Science from Rutgers University.
