Hugh Mair is an experienced professional currently serving as the Assistant General Manager for the High Performance Processor Technology Business Unit at MediaTek since September 2012. In addition to this role, Hugh Mair is also the Director for Advanced CPU and Technology 1, a division within MediaTek. Prior to MediaTek, Hugh Mair spent over 22 years at Texas Instruments (TI), holding multiple distinguished positions, including Principal Member Technical Staff and Distinguished Member Technical Staff across various divisions, where significant contributions were made to the development of high-data-rate Serdes, low-power CMOS technologies, and power management strategies for baseband products. Hugh Mair holds a degree from the University of Glasgow, completed between 1986 and 1990.
