Dr. Uming Ko is a Corporate Vice President at MediaTek, where responsibilities include corporate management and overseeing high-performance processor technology since October 2011. Previously, Dr. Ko held various roles at Texas Instruments, including Senior Fellow and Director of the Worldwide Chip Technology Center, where contributions were made to low-power DSP CPU development and OMAP hardware development. Dr. Ko has also been a Fellow with IEEE since December 2010. Education includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas, completed in 1995.
