Aaron Abelard has extensive experience in software development and engineering, currently serving as Lead Backend at MediaLab since June 2022. Previously, Aaron worked as Software Engineering Team Lead at Sharpen, where significant contributions were made to migrating backend systems from PHP to NodeJS. From 2012 to 2020, Aaron held the position of Director, Systems Engineering at Salesforce, focusing on building tools that facilitated the operation of SaaS platforms. Earlier roles include Senior Developer at Salon Media Group, Director of Information Technology at Pueblo Digital Media, and various positions in earlier startups, beginning as a Developer at AKM Networks and culminating as Network Information Manager at Monster.com. Aaron's educational background includes a degree from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
