Additionally, Adriaan is an author specializing in current affairs books, a role held since September 2010 with Jonathan Ball Publishers. Previous experience includes serving as Assistant Editor at City Press from October 2010 to September 2013 and as an Investigative Journalist at Mail & Guardian from July 2007 to September 2010. Adriaan Basson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Stellenbosch University and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in African Politics from the University of South Africa.
