Olufunso Alowolodu serves as the Dean of Faculty and Head of the Department of Computer Science at McPherson University since October 2022. Additionally, Olufunso holds the position of GHC 2023 Faculty Scholar, participating in the Annual GHC for women in Computing starting in June 2023. With a long-standing tenure as a Lecturer at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, which began in January 2010, Olufunso progressed to Lecturer I from October 2016 until March 2024. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science, earned from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, between 2006 and 2016.
