Mehdi Moradi is a Senior Data Scientist at Google since February 2022 and an Associate Professor at McMaster University since September 2022. Prior to these roles, Mehdi served as a Manager/Scientist at IBM, leading the AI for Medical Image Analysis team and managing the Machine Learning Department within the Medical Sieve project from August 2014 to February 2022. Mehdi's academic experience includes an appointment as an Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, where research focused on multiparametric and multimodality imaging for prostate cancer. Mehdi has held key positions at renowned institutions such as Harvard Medical School and has significant editorial experience. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biomedical Computing from Queen's University, an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tehran, and a B.A.Sc. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology.
