Kathy Huang is a Resident Doctor specializing in OB/GYN at McMaster University since September 2019. Additionally, Kathy serves as the Vice President of Global Health for the McMaster Medical Student Council, representing global health interests and advocating for student involvement in curriculum development. As a Research Assistant at the McMaster Health Forum, Kathy contributes to critical appraisals and data management for the Health Systems Evidence and Social Systems Evidence programs. Kathy's experience includes a position at the University of Johannesburg focusing on evidence-informed decision-making and a research role at City of Toronto Long-Term Care Homes, where Kathy worked on improving nursing practice efficiency. Kathy's early career includes facilitating programming for high-priority neighborhoods with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hamilton.
