Ingrid Waldron, Ph.D., is a prominent academic and advocate specializing in peace, health, and social justice. Currently, Ingrid serves as a Professor and HOPE Chair in Peace & Health at McMaster University and is actively involved in various initiatives addressing environmental racism and health disparities. Ingrid is the Founder and Executive Director of The Environmental Noxiousness, Racial Inequities & Community Health Project (The ENRICH Project), which focuses on Indigenous and Black communities in Canada. Additionally, Ingrid co-founded The Canadian Coalition for Environmental and Climate Justice, striving to unite organizations against environmental racism and climate change impacts.
