Gayleen Gray serves as the Board Chair for CUCCIO, influencing collaboration among Canadian Higher Ed IT CIOs since July 2024. As the Associate Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at McMaster University since August 2017, Gayleen has developed extensive experience in higher education IT leadership. Previously, roles included Deputy CIO and Associate Director of IT Strategy and Partnerships at the University of Guelph from October 2011 to July 2017, and Manager of IT Services Support and Client Relations from January 2007 to October 2011. Gayleen's earlier experience includes serving as Program Chair for the ResNet Symposium in 2007 and as a Senior Computer Analyst and IT Help Desk Supervisor at the University of Guelph from 1999 to 2006. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the University of Guelph and a B.A. Honours in English Literature from Carleton University.
