Anita Alizadeh is a dedicated and experienced individual currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba, focusing on psychiatric disorders in patients with demyelinating disorders under the guidance of Dr. Anibal Chertcoff. In addition, Anita holds the position of President at Medicine4Youth, where significant organizational skills were demonstrated through the coordination of a Summer Research Project involving 300 participants. Anita has also taken on leadership roles as an Executive Member and Careers Coordinator at McMaster Science Society, and as Chair at Alpha Pi Phi International Sorority, managing multiple positions in their chapter. Experience as a private tutor for elementary and middle school students, coupled with internships at Brainwave Clinic and Atlantic Medical Centre, showcases a strong commitment to education and community service. Anita's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour at McMaster University, with a foundation in the Honours Math, Science, Technology Program from Northview Heights Secondary School.
