Brenda L. serves as the Chief Returning Officer at McMaster Students Union, overseeing electoral activities for over 27,000 students and fostering transparency and student engagement. With extensive leadership experience in various organizations, including roles as VP of External for the McMaster Chinese Students' Association and Chief Returning Officer for the McMaster Science Society, Brenda demonstrates strong strategic planning and policy enforcement skills. As a Research Assistant at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, research efforts focus on open science practices and integrative medicine. Additionally, Brenda is an active athlete with the Pickering Dragon Boat Club and has experience in customer service and teaching as a barista and swim instructor, respectively. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at Western University, Brenda is committed to furthering education and involvement in healthcare.
