Matthew McNally arrived at Catholic University in December of 2013 with over twenty years of experience delivering technology services within Higher Education. Seven of these were with Carnegie Mellon University with responsibilities growing from research programming, to end-user services, teaching upper-level User Interface Design courses, and then ultimately to project management of their first online learning platform. Followed by a brief, but intense sojourn to NASA as a researcher and then Bell Labs Research as a product manager developing unified messaging solutions. He then returned to Higher Education where he spent the next twelve years at Georgetown University leading their Enterprise Applications and Engineering teams. While at Georgetown, in addition to establishing change management and formal development processes, he introduced identity management services and migrated their collaborative services such as email and file sharing, and their enterprise HR and Payroll solutions to cloud-hosted platforms.
