Dr. Marco Degano, CEng MIET, is a seasoned professional specializing in power electronics engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Power Electronics Engineer at McLaren Applied since June 2023, Dr. Degano has previously held key roles including Principal Electronics Engineer and Lead Electronics Engineer at AFC Energy plc and Zwift, respectively. Notably, prior experience includes significant contributions to high-profile projects at the University of Nottingham as a Research Fellow, where custom power converters were designed for aerospace and automotive applications. With a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nottingham and a degree in Electronic Engineering from Università degli Studi di Udine, Dr. Degano combines advanced academic achievements with extensive industry experience in designing inverters and power electronic systems.
