Jacques Hebert has a diverse work experience across various organizations. Jacques began their career in 2005 as the Advertising Director for The Dartmouth Inc, where they led a team of sales representatives and achieved record ad sales. Jacques then moved on to the William J. Tucker Foundation at Dartmouth College in 2006, where they oversaw relief trips to the Gulf Coast and launched marketing campaigns. In 2007, Jacques joined Google as an AdWords Account Manager, managing high-value advertising accounts and exceeding revenue targets. Jacques then transitioned to YouTube in 2011 as a Senior Communications Associate, overseeing media relations and communications strategies. In 2012, they worked as a Public Affairs Manager for Mother Jones, promoting their reporting to media and policy organizations. Jacques joined the National Audubon Society in 2015 as the Communications Director, designing and implementing strategic communications plans and managing a team. Jacques then became the Co-Host and Producer of the Delta Dispatches Podcast in 2017, featuring experts discussing coastal restoration. From 2019 to 2022, Jacques worked at the Environmental Defense Fund as a Communications Manager, leading strategic campaigns and chairing the communications committee. Jacques is currently the Communications Director at the McKnight Foundation, leveraging strategic communications to advance the foundation's mission.
Jacques Hebert started their education at the Jesuit High School of New Orleans in 1998 and completed their studies there in 2003. Jacques then pursued higher education at Dartmouth College from 2003 to 2007, earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in Latin American Studies & Spanish.
