Xolile Mthembu is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as an ExO Advisor at OpenExO since 2019. Previously, Mthembu held the position of Cyber Security Academy Lead and senior trainer at Penta Consulting, where responsibilities included establishing a Cyber Security Academy for the Qatari government in collaboration with Cisco UK. Other notable roles include Head of Cybersecurity Academy at Absa, Head of IT Security for Personal and Business Banking SA and SBG Mobile at Standard Bank Group, and Chapter Secretary for (ISC)2 Gauteng Chapter. Mthembu has a solid foundation in information security through positions at Accenture, Neotel, and Telkom. Educational qualifications comprise a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from Malaysia Multimedia University and completion of the Women As Leaders Programme at GIBS Business School.
