May Tangthanasup is an experienced Occupational Therapist currently working at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and St. Michael's Hospital, specializing in spinal cord injury and neuro rehabilitation, including trauma, neurosurgery, and various medical disciplines. With additional experience at Baycrest Health Sciences focusing on geriatrics and community outreach, May has also served in student roles within chronic pain management and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. Before pursuing a career in occupational therapy, May held managerial and consultancy positions across international strategy and healthcare promotion, coupled with academic roles in sociology and ESL. May holds advanced degrees in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto and Human Rights from the London School of Economics, complemented by additional qualifications in language and liberal arts.
