Vickie Smith is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Senior Professional Services Director at McGraw Hill since November 2021 and as Professional Services Director at Achieve3000 since February 2016. Vickie previously held the position of Director of Literacy, AIG, and Professional Development at Orange County Schools from January 2009 to February 2016, and worked as an Independent Consultant specializing in literacy from February 2000 to January 2009. Earlier experience includes serving as an English Teacher at Wake County Public School System from February 1992 to February 2001. Vickie holds a Literacy Add-On Licensure from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2009-2011), a Masters of Education from North Carolina State University (1990-1992), and a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Mars Hill University (1986-1990).
