Santiago F. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the banking and fintech industries. Currently serving as Principal Advisor for Innovation, Partnerships & Fintech at the National Bank of Canada since 2010, Santiago has held various strategic roles within the organization, including Director of Advanced Analytics and Innovation and Senior Strategy Analyst. In addition to responsibilities at the National Bank, Santiago is a university lecturer at McGill University and has been a startup advisor for Fintech Cadence and THE HOLT XCHANGE since 2017 and 2018, respectively. Santiago also holds a board position with Chaire Fintech AMF - Finance Montréal since November 2020 and previously served as a business mentor at HEC Montréal. With an MBA and a finance certificate from HEC Montréal and a Bachelor's Degree from Universidad del Valle in Colombia, Santiago combines academic expertise with practical experience in the fintech sector.
