Aled Edwards is an accomplished academic and executive with extensive experience in biochemistry and structural biology. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at McGill University and a Professor at the University of Toronto, Aled also holds the position of Chief Executive at the Structural Genomics Consortium, a role maintained since 2003. Additional leadership includes chairing M4K Pharma and previously holding roles as a Member of Council for the National Research Council Canada and a Visiting Professor at the University of Oxford. Aled's entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding Affinium Pharmaceuticals. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from McGill University, along with post-doctoral research at Stanford University, Aled has made significant contributions to both academia and industry over several decades.
