Amanda Hofmann-Handy, Ed.D., currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at McDowell Sonoran Conservancy since March 2024. Prior to this role, Amanda was the Director of Program at Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council from January 2018 to February 2024, and the Manager of Outdoor Experience and STEM at Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast from August 2015 to December 2017, overseeing programs that impacted thousands of girls and adult volunteers. Amanda's earlier experience includes serving as Executive Director at Gull Wings Children's Museum from March 2013 to August 2015, where operational leadership and community engagement were key responsibilities. Amanda holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, along with additional educational accomplishments at Ashford University, Broward College, and Santa Fe College.
