Sarah Rutherford English has extensive work experience in development and grant consulting. Sarah began their career in 2006 as a Grant Manager at Chicago Family Health Center and later worked as a Grant Manager at Sinai Health System from 2008 to 2010. In 2011, they became the Development Manager, Individual Giving at Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras. Sarah then worked as an Assistant Director of Development at Swedish Covenant Hospital from 2013 to 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Director of Development at Association House of Chicago. Currently, Sarah holds the position of Vice President of Development at Haymarket Center, starting in 2020. Additionally, they have worked as a Development & Grant Consultant in a freelance capacity from 2010 to 2018.
Sarah Rutherford English has a Master's degree in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from the University of Illinois Chicago. Sarah also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington.
