Erin Lavin Cabonargi serves as the Managing Director of Hibernian Advisors, a strategic advisory practice focused on commercial real estate, infrastructure, and government affairs. Prior to Hibernian Advisors, Ms. Cabonargi was the Director of Development Services for Sterling Bay, a Chicago‐based commercial real estate investment and development firm. Prior to Sterling Bay, Ms. Cabonargi was a leader in public sector development and a Cabinet member to Chicago Mayors Richard M. Daley and Rahm Emanuel. She served as the Executive Director of the Public Building Commission of Chicago, successfully delivering nearly $3 billion of new development, major capital renovation, infrastructure, surveillance, technology and asset repositioning work on behalf of sister agencies and municipalities. She also had significant facility management responsibilities, inclusive of the Richard J. Daley Center, one of the nation’s largest courthouses and civic gathering spaces.
Ms. Cabonargi is actively involved with the Metropolitan Planning Council, Chicago Building Congress, Leadership Greater Chicago, Urban Land Institute, American Institute of Architects, the Economic Club of Chicago, City of Hope, Lambda Alpha Society for Land Use Economics and the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center.
