Steven Thurman currently serves as a Project Assistant Superintendent at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. since May 2022, having previously held roles such as Senior Project Engineer, Project Engineer, and Project Coordinator within the same organization. Prior experience includes work as a Combat Engineer with the Iowa Army National Guard from September 2018 to August 2024, as well as roles at PML Construction, Inc. from February 2017 to May 2022, where Steven was a Project Engineer and Carpenter. Additionally, experience as a Combat Engineer in the US Marine Corps from April 2013 to August 2018 contributed to a diverse skill set in construction, carpentry, and demolition. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Technology from Wayne State College and an Associate's degree in Construction Management from Metropolitan Community College, supplemented by high school education at Northwest Magnet High.
