Kyle Smith serves as the Vice President of Battery Energy Storage Systems at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., leading strategic business development initiatives in the Renewable Energy BESS Group since November 2024. Previously, Kyle held the role of Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at Powin, focusing on capital engagement for battery energy storage projects. Other notable positions include Associate Director of Business Development at Ulteig, where Kyle was responsible for market expansion in Climate Tech and Renewables, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Solar Energy Industries Association. Kyle's extensive experience in energy procurement and project management includes roles at Clearway Energy Group and Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. Kyle holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and has advanced education in Mergers and Acquisitions from Columbia Business School.
