Brooke Boertzel is the Director of Education at McCarter Theatre Center, where they currently develop and enhance educational programs. Previously, Brooke served as the Director of Education at New York City Children's Theater from 2007 to 2018, focusing on innovative theater programs aligned with educational standards. They have also worked as a Curriculum Specialist and Consultant, developing trauma-informed training for artists and teachers. Additionally, Brooke contributed as a board member at the NYC Arts in Education Roundtable from 2012 to 2019, and has an extensive background in voice acting and production. Brooke holds a M.A. in Educational Theatre from New York University and a M.F.A. from The New School.
