Clare Gillett is a Partner at McCann FitzGerald LLP, having joined the firm in April 2013 as an Associate in the Financial Services Group, with a focus on regulatory issues in insurance, asset management, FinTech, payment services, and banking. Clare has progressed through various roles, including Senior Associate and has substantial experience as a Trainee Solicitor across diverse areas such as investment funds, financial regulation, and corporate finance. Prior to McCann FitzGerald, Clare worked as a Supervisor for Credit Institutions at the Central Bank of Ireland, where responsibilities included operational risk management and regulatory compliance. Clare also has editorial experience with the Hibernian Law Journal and has held various positions in legal and administrative roles earlier in the career. Academic credentials include a BCL (European) from University College Dublin, a Diploma in FinTech from Technological University Dublin, and completion of the Professional Practice Course at the Law Society of Ireland.
