Samuel Guard is a supervisor at McCabe, Hamilton & Renny. Prior to this, they worked as a third assistant engineer at SEACOR Marine Holdings from October 2021 to December 2021. In this role, they performed daily rounds and maintenance of assigned machinery, assisted other ship crew with various operations, and performed weekly checks on emergency diesel generator, lifeboats, bow thruster, and fire pumps. Samuel also assisted equipment technicians and yard superintendents on various jobs while in Sembcorp Singapore shipyard.

Before working at SEACOR Marine Holdings, Guard interned at McCabe, Hamilton & Renny Co., Ltd. from June 2018 to September 2018. Samuel also has experience working as a landscape assistant at Pacific Outdoor Living from June 2015 to July 2015.

Samuel Guard graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering and Technology from the California State University Maritime Academy. Samuel also has a certification in EPA Section 608 Certification - Refrigerant Handling from the Calhoun School of Engineering and a certification in Security Awareness Training for All Seafarers from the California State University Maritime Academy.

Samuel Guard reports to Camy Chin-Meun, VP. They are on a team with Andrew Toia - Supervisor, Joshua Siaris - Operations Manager, and Christopher Samson - Supervisor.
