Naomi Wood has a diverse work experience, starting as a Teaching Assistant at the University of North Texas in 2008. Naomi later worked as an Adult and Community Education Administrator at the Denton Independent School District. In 2014, Naomi returned to the University of North Texas as an Evaluator and later became a Research Analyst, where they managed grant proposals for Engineering faculty. From 2017 to 2022, they served as the Director of Research Development, overseeing research activities and connecting researchers with funding opportunities. Currently, Naomi is the Managing Director of the Research Universities Practice Core Team at McAllister & Quinn, responsible for practice management, staff oversight, and business development.
Naomi Wood completed their education at the University of North Texas, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from 2008 to 2012. Naomi then pursued further studies and obtained a Master's degree in International Relations & Diplomacy from the same institution between 2016 and 2018. In addition to their academic qualifications, Naomi has obtained additional certifications in Meeting Facilitation and Skills for Inclusive Conversations from LinkedIn in 2022 and 2020 respectively. Naomi also holds certifications in EC-6 and ESL from A+ Texas Teachers, obtained in April 2012.
