Kala Patel serves as the Vice President of Marketing at MBI Brands Inc. since April 2024, bringing extensive experience in marketing and leadership across various sectors. Previously, Kala held the role of Vice President for Lean In Toronto, contributing to the community-focused organization that empowers professional women in Canada. With a strong background in commercialization and operations, Kala served as the Chief Commercialization Officer at Sunrise Soya Foods, where oversight of Eastern Canada Operations and marketing strategies was a key responsibility. Additionally, Kala has consulted for various companies, including Derlea Brands Food Inc., while holding significant positions in marketing at Sofina Foods Inc., Parmalat Canada, and Wrigley Canada. An alumnus of Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing, Kala's career has been marked by a commitment to strategy, growth, and community empowerment.
