Perryn Wong has a diverse work experience beginning in 2015 as a Summer Intern at Stanford Law School. In 2016, Perryn worked as a Winter Intern at Cleave Biosciences, Inc., where they gained skills in cell culture, cell count, and drug preparation for in vivo studies. They also learned about maintaining a sterile environment and proper sterilization protocols. Perryn then served as a Volunteer at Colorado State University, conducting polymerase chain reactions (PCR) and reverse transcription polymerase chain reactions (rt-PCR) on tissue samples for aerosol vaccine development. They also took on the role of an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for ANEQ 551, where they taught students about performing large animal necropsies and taking organ samples.
In 2017, Perryn joined Theravance Biopharma US, Inc. as a Research Assistant, working until 2019. They then worked as a Research Associate at Precision For Medicine for a few months before returning to Theravance Biopharma US, Inc. as a Research Associate I. Perryn later advanced to the position of Research Associate II before joining Maze Therapeutics in 2021 as a Senior Research Associate I.
Perryn Wong pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting from 2008 to 2012, they attended Summit Preparatory Charter High School, where they obtained their high school degree. From 2012 to 2017, Perryn furthered their education at Colorado State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major in Animal Science and Agricultural Business.
