Byron Callies currently serves as the Deputy Chief Security Officer and Operations Administrator at Mayo Clinic, providing administrative support for the Trauma Center since September 2010. Callies has led the Clinical & Business Continuity Management Program, focusing on integrating incident management and developing policies to minimize operational disruptions. Additionally, Callies has held interim roles as Chief Security Officer and managed the Emergency Management Program. With experience in strategic leadership roles within various organizations, including the Southeast Minnesota Disaster Health Coalition, ECHO Minnesota, and Aegis Bleu, LLC, Callies has consistently supported operational transformations and continuity initiatives. Callies' educational background includes a Master's degree in Clinical Medicine from The George Washington University and a Master's in Emergency & Disaster Management from Trident University International.
