Sergey Trushin is a highly experienced research technologist with a long-standing career at Mayo Clinic, serving as Principal Research Technologist and Senior Research Technologist since 1995. Areas of expertise include the development of a reference LC-MS/MS method for measuring Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) and conducting basic research in HIV pathogenesis, latency, and apoptosis. Prior roles included Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow, focusing on T cell signaling and NF-kappaB regulation. Trushin holds a Ph.D. in the chemistry of macromolecules from the Institute of Macromolecular Compounds, Russian Academy of Sciences, and a Master's degree in Chemistry from Saratov State University. Previous experience includes a position as Senior Research Scientist at the Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Plants and Microorganisms from 1989 to 1993.
