Kareen Fares is an accomplished investment analyst currently employed at Maycomb Capital since August 2024. Fares also serves on the Odyssey Scholarship Selection Committee at the Institute of International Education and previously worked as an analyst at Schmidt Futures, contributing to the Rise program. Fares gained experience as a summer research analyst at The Brookings Institution, focusing on educational development, and as an ambassador for GURLS TALK. Additional internships include a portfolio analyst role at The Helm and a security council internship with the United Nations, concentrating on anti-terrorism and peacekeeping efforts in the Middle East and Africa. Fares holds a Master of Science in Education in International Educational Development from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a focus on Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the same institution, complemented by a spring semester abroad at Sciences Po. Early education was completed at Godolphin and Latymer.
