Huong Luong Thu is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in economic research and data analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst at Maybank Investment Banking Group since March 2022, Huong has a solid background in leading teams and developing behavioral models for liquidity risk management gained during the tenure as a Senior Data Analyst at VPBank from August 2018 to April 2020. Previous experience includes working as an Economic Researcher at the Ministry of Planning and Investment in Vietnam, where Huong constructed structural econometric models to forecast the economy and analyze the effects of public policies. Additionally, a research internship at the Asian Development Bank Institute involved conducting literature reviews and data processing. Huong holds a Master of Arts from Hitotsubashi ICS and a Bachelor of Science in International Economics from Foreign Trade University.
