Matthew Woods is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering with a strong background in operations and project management. As the Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer at maxwell+spark since May 2017, Matthew has been instrumental in driving organizational success. Previously, Matthew contributed as a senior team member for the UKZN Solar Car Project, where involvement included the design and manufacture of solar vehicles for prestigious competitions. Matthew's academic achievements include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where Matthew graduated Cum Laude. Additionally, Matthew showcased competitive skills at the 2014 Engineering & Commerce Case Competition held at Concordia University. Matthew's educational foundation was laid at St Henry's Marist College, where Matthew served as Deputy Head Boy and graduated with an IEB Distinction Pass.
