Brandon Schumacher has a diverse and extensive work experience in architecture and design technology. Brandon is currently working as a Director of Design Technology at Maxus Group since August 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Director of BIM to Fabrication Implementation at Elite Glass from February 2018 to August 2019. Before that, Brandon was a BIM Manager at the NYC Department of Design and Construction from September 2015 to February 2018. Brandon also worked as a Design Technology Manager at HOK from November 2013 to September 2015 and as a BIM Manager at Buro Happold from March 2012 to November 2013. Brandon started their career as an Intermediate Architect & BIM Specialist at Cook + Fox Architects from June 2010 to March 2012. Additionally, they worked as a BIM Specialist at Nastasi Architects from January 2010 to June 2010. Brandon has also gained experience as a Graduate Architectural Researcher at Stevens Institute of Technology from August 2008 to May 2010 and as a Project Engineer Intern at SHoP Construction Services LLC from April 2009 to November 2009. Brandon began their career as an Intern Architect at Randy Brown ARCHITECTs from May 2005 to July 2008.
Brandon Schumacher earned a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from Iowa State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Following that, they pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Product Architecture and Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained the LEED AP certification from the United States Green Building Council in January 2008.
